BACKGROUND
Built in 1914, the Lisburn city centre campus of SERC has a well established role in the local community and provides a range of innovative and career focused programmes of study to over 6000 learners and 300 client companies. The new state-of-the-art campus spans 14,200 square meters and is located on Castle Street in the heart of Lisburn city centre.
The £20 million investment houses a world class technical skills centre, workshops, a fitness suite, industry specific science laboratories, fully equipped IT suite, commercial restaurant and hairdressing and beauty therapy salon.
The Lisburn campus is the leading FE provider of Refrigeration training in Northern Ireland, is one of only two providers of Construction Plant training and is a Ground Source Heat Pump Installer Academy.
