Ken Webb

Principal & Chief Executive

Ken has a wide and varied professional background, including working in Central Government, Local Government and the Private Sector.  His extensive roles have included leading and managing diverse areas from PPP/PFI projects, through national advertising campaigns to international sales in Agri-food industry and IT consultancy.  Ken is a former student of the FE College in Lisburn, a qualified teacher, and Chartered Accountant.  He holds a number of further qualifications from Queen’s University Belfast, University of Ulster and Warwick University Business School.

David Smith

Director of Economic Engagement

David is responsible for the leadership and management of the College's economic engagement activity, which includes the Training for Success Programme, Enterprise, Business Development and Community Development. He holds a MA (Education), BSc, Diploma in Business Administration and Advanced Diploma in Further Education. He is based at the Downpatrick Campus.

Eleanor Ross

Director of Teaching and Learning.

Eleanor is responsible for all curriculum issues within the College. She holds a BSc Honours in Geography and Economics, a MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. She is based at the Bangor Campus.

Michael Malone

Director of Information Services.

Michael is responsible for Information Systems and Technology, Admissions, Administration and Marketing. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and is based at the Lisburn Campus.

 Thompson Keating

Director of Corporate Services

Thompson is responsible for the Human and Financial Resources and Corporate Assurance functions of the College. He holds a BSc Honours in Construction, a BSc Honours in Estate Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Strategy and Facilities, all from the University of Ulster. He is based at the Newtownards Campus.

Paul Smyth

Head of Human Resources

Paul is responsible for the development and implementation of the Human Resources strategy at the College. He holds a B Eng Aeronautical Engineering from Queen’s University, Belfast and is a Member of the CIPD. Paul is based at the Newtownards Campus.

Veronica Healy

Personal Assistant to the Principal and Chief Executive.

Veronica is responsible for the management of the office of the Principal and Chief Executive by providing administrative support service. She is based at the Bangor Campus.
