The Learning Resource Centre in Bangor, comprised of a separate Library and Resource Centre, provides traditional library services including inter-library loans, online learning resources and open access computer facilities. We offer a welcoming environment for both individual private study and group work.
Our experienced staff can assist learners to make the best use of our services, facilities and resources. Printed guides to services are available at the enquiry desks or they can be downloaded from the SERC Intranet.
Library materials cover a wide range of subjects in a variety of media - print, electronic and audio-visual. E-resources, accessed via the Intranet, include collections of full text periodicals and newspapers, reference books, subject specific databases and relevant websites. Our online library catalogue can be searched both in the Library and at home.
The computers in the Library and Resource Centre can be used for study related activities and the preparation of coursework. All computers are equipped with Microsoft Office software and allow free access to the Internet.
Students who need to work together in a group can book our study room. We also offer a photocopying service, laminating, spiral binding for coursework and a variety of stationery items for sale.
