Newtownards has an integrated Learning Resource Centre that provides both library services and open access computer facilities.  We offer a wide range of services and facilities designed to support learning and promote independent study.

Experienced staff are available to answer enquiries, to help you to find information and resources and to advise on how to make the best use of the facilities.  Printed guides to our services are available at the enquiry desk.  These guides are also reproduced in electronic format on the SERC Intranet.

We provide - book and periodical collections; newspapers; online access to the library catalogue; inter-library loans; online journals and e-learning resources; open access IT facilities including printing and scanning, a group study room; photocopying; a spiral binding service and a variety of stationery items for sale.

The computers in the Learning Resource Centre can be used for study related activities and the preparation of coursework.  All computers are equipped with Microsoft Office software and allow free access to the Internet.
