Greater Belfast Retail Skills Shop
Introduction
In June 2011 Northern Ireland’s first retail skills shop – the Greater Belfast Retail Skills Shop was launched.
The Greater Belfast Retail Skills Shop aims to improve the retail experience through better customer service, staff commitment and enhanced quality. It was created through a partnership between South Eastern Regional College (SERC) and the National Skills Academy for Retail.
The Greater Belfast Retail Skills Shop offers a range of exclusive training opportunities for high street retailers and independents alike with the aim of improving business performance, customer satisfaction and profit margins.
Amongst the offering will be the Mary Portas guide to successful retailing, a series of master classes where independent retailers can learn skills and tips to improve their business inspired by Mary Portas, star of hit television series Mary Queen of Shops.
