The Project
To deliver bespoke industry specific training
The Brief
SERC staff had previously developed specific training for the Refrigeration industry in Northern Ireland taking the industry-standard training period of 5 days to a new 2-day delivery representing a £275,000 saving to the industry. SERC was approached by Refrigeration Skillnet to provide this training at their Dublin base as no other training provider could offer this type of saving to the industry.
The Solution
SERC staff provided the training to industry workers, and have to date, provided training to over 200 individuals
The Outcome
The industry continues to have the latest innovation in training which is leading to improved standards throughout the industry. Also as the training can now be provided in a shorter course, students are able to return to work sooner, saving these companies money.
