The Brief
Having heard of the work carried out by SERC with local business, Business Development Manager Mark Huddelston spoke with Terry Francis, Head of Business Innovation and Development at SERC with the view of providing consultancy to help improve the productivity and competitveness in the global market place
The Solution
SERC supported Huddleston Engineering through a number of consultancy projects which has saved the County Down based company, £20,000 on consultancy costs. Mark Huddelston commented ' As an integrated supplier to the global aerospace industry we pride ourselves in keeping our staff up to date with the latest technologies. Our manufacturing staff are due to commence training in Business Improvement Techniques (B-IT) which will enable them to undertake improvements aimed at reducing cost, minimising waste and improving productivity.”
