Vocational Training Programme
The Brief
Nitronica has been a supplier to the electronics industry for over 50 years and for much of this time functioned as an ‘in-house’ facility for large groups such as Plessey, Marconi and Viasystems.
The purpose of this training was to help the company improve quality and to create a change in culture in relation to staff acceptance of change, learning and multi-tasking. 44 workers completed the programme.
The Solution
SERC provided a vocational training programme in Manufacturing Engineering to help up-skill and multi-skill shop floor staff.
The Outcome
By completing the training with SERC, Nitronica saved over £10,000 through onsite training and accessing support funds.
