Background
The Newcastle campus is located on the Castlewellan Road on the outskirts of the beautiful seaside town. The two storey, 1071m2 new building was officially opened by Sir Reg Empey, Minister for Employment and Learning on 25th June 2009.Transport, leisure and library facilities are within walking distance of the centre.
Over the years adult students attending courses at this centre have consistently commented on the supportive and friendly atmosphere.
Facilities/Resources within the Centre
The Newcastle campus accommodates an extensive range of business and adult education courses. The impressive new building houses IT suites, craft workshops, library, resource centre, and general classroom and office accommodation.
Vending facilities are available for the purchase of hot and cold drinks and snacks. Some of the provinces top restaurants and coffee shops are located within walking distance of the centre.

NVQs in Beauty Therapy, BTEC National Diploma in Interior Design, NVQs in administration and in Children’s Care Learning & Development, A Yoga Foundation Certificate, IT courses including web design and ECDL, GCSEs and AS/A2 Levels, Essential Skills courses and ESOL, to name but a few.
