Foundation Degrees are new, innovative degree level qualifications designed with employers, so they fit perfectly into the world of work. Integrating academic and work-based learning, Foundation degrees allow students already employed to undertake a programme of study in order to get ahead in their chosen career, whilst continuing to work. Some students may also undertake a Foundation degree when returning to work or changing their career. Foundation Degrees are also available at South Eastern Regional College on a full time basis.
While bachelors degrees tend to focus on gaining knowledge, Higher National Diplomas are designed to give you the skills to put knowledge to effective use in a particular job.
They provide students with the education, training and confidence they need as a professional to gain success. There are a number of work related features within these qualifications including projects and enterprise and employability skills.
