Stuart Preston from "People Skills" came to the Bangor campus of South Eastern Regional College (SERC) and led a workshop on interview skills for Construction students studying further and higher education courses.
As students approached the end of their course and considered their future options it was decided to bring an industry expert into the College to give practical advice and guidance on interview preparation and interviewing.
Simon Cummings, Assistant Head of School for Construction and Engineering Services commented; “In today's difficult economic climate it is extremely important to be able to sell yourself at an interview, it was with this in mind that I invited Stuart into the College to speak to students.
“Stuart took the opportunity to highlight techniques for preparing suitable answers to frequently asked interview questions and also gave the students the opportunity to try out their new skills in mock interviews.”
