This year’s Freshers Week will be held from Monday 13th September – Thursday 16th September. This is a MUST event in your Students’ Union Calendar. We have invited in a number of organisations and agencies within your local area to show what they have to offer you as a student. Examples of some are Unite Against Hate, PSNI, Ulster Bank, Northern Bank, o2, Health Trust,NUS-USI, Rainbow Project plus many, many, more! We would encourage all students to attend the Fair in their campus. All students will be given the opportunity to sign up for clubs, training and volunteering and can also benefit from free information advice and of course some freebies!!
Fun at the Fair…
The Fairs have been organised to help students get settled in at SERC. This is a good opportunity to meet others from your course, find out who is who within SERC, get your essential SERC SU welcome pack (sponsored by Club Orange) plus get to know your local area! You will also have the opportunity to sign up to clubs and societies in your campus and grab your nomination pack for the Student Union Elections.
There will be music in each of the canteens over the lunches showcasing some of SERCs very own talented students, Ian’s Driving school will be doing outdoor demonstrations for scooters and there will also be a BMX show over lunchtime at the Bangor campus (sponsored by Relentless)!

Tuesday 14th September – McNeill Room, Downpatrick Campus 11am – 3pm
Wednesday 15th September – Mall Area, Lisburn Campus 10am – 3pm
Thursday 16th September – A01 (TBC) and Reception Area, Newtownards Campus
