South Eastern Regional College has launched its 2013-2014 Part-time Prospectus. The new prospectus provides details on hundreds of courses and with 10 per cent off until end July on all vocational courses this is the perfect opportunity to sign up.
​SERC recently carried out a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) analysis for local, family owned business Kids Play NI to help them improve marketing results.
Congratulations to SERC’s Lizzie Buick, who has been announced as the winner of the Pearson Teaching Award for FE Teacher of the Year in Northern Ireland. Newtownards based Lizzie will now go forward for the UK FE Teacher of the Year later in the year.
Through funding from the Big Lottery Awards for All, the Community Development team at SERC successfully delivered the latest instalment in their 'Come Dine With Us' series on Monday 13 May at the Lisburn Campus.
SERC provides prototyping services to test early stage design for a new product for local business Commander Securities Ltd.

At South Eastern Regional College, we offer a range of courses aimed at individuals from 14-94 years old.  Over 10,000 people choose SERC each year to study a part-time course in a range of subjects and levels.
 
Leisure and 'For Fun' courses can help you:

  • Broaden your horizons 
Remember you may start off a course with fun in mind but you never know where it might lead you. Many students have started businesses as a result of a leisure course and many others have gone on to vocational courses and employment. Read Andrew's inspiring story below.
 
STUDENT STORIES
Andrew Cooke returned to study at SERC to complete an Art and Design leisure course, he then went onto study the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and is now studying for a BA Fine and Applied Art degree.
