Adam Clint has just returned home from a year long trip to the States where he studied at Lagrange College, Lagrange, Georgia, USA, as part of the Business Education Initiative. Whilst he was there, he undertook a range of subject areas including American Law, Economics, International Economics, Development of English Drama, Karate and Cults and New Religious Movements.
Adam loved the whole experience of being out in America; meeting new people, making new friends, fiendly faces, beautiful warm weather...these factors coupled with meeting a nice American girl meant that he was reluctant to come home!
Aside from studying, he took up playing for the College soccer team, travelling along the East coast for various competitions and tournaments. He displayed further sporting prowess by playing tennis for the College and being awarded the MVP accolade (Most Valuable Player). Being involved in sports and part of a team enabled him to meet new friends fairly quickly, not to mention seeing some different places such as Florida, Alabama, North and South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee!
In addition to all the studying, sport playing, socialising and partying he also had time to squeeze in a trip to Miami at Christmas to meet up with other students from Ireland on the BEI programme, spending Christmas day on the beach and travelling to a friend's house for Thanksgiving in Atlanta!
Adam thoroughly enjoyed his time studying in America and is constantly expanding essential core skills that are needed while developing an outward looking, international experience.
