Ciara has recently completed the first year of her NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing course at the Downpatrick Campus of the College, she currently works for the Attic Hair Studio in Downpatrick. 

“I always knew I wanted a career in Hairdressing, when I complete my GCSE’s I signed up to the College, its really handy for me as it is close to home, my brother also studies here and told me it’s a great place to study.

The staff at the College are very friendly, my course tutor, Yvonne Flynn, has been really helpful and supportive during my first year.  I’m really looking forward to September when we will be using the new hairdressing facilities in the new campus, it promises to be a great learning environment.

My ambition is to become a fully qualified Hairdresser and maybe go to New York and hopefully work o Fashion Show’s.”
