Lianne Larmour achieved 97% in June 08 exam and was awarded top student in the UK for the Diploma in Computerised Accounts.  This was an excellent achievement for Lianne and fully justified her return to education.

“I had a few years of bookkeeping experience at work using the Sage package but with no formal training.  I met Colleen Harrison (Course Co-ordinator) at a short 4 day Introduction to Sage course.  Colleen told me about the diploma course and encouraged me to enrol for it.  As I had no previous training I was a bit dubious at jumping head first into the Level 3 but Colleen assured me I could cope.  I won't deny that heading back to college was a bit daunting at first, but the rest of the class was in a similar boat to me so it was easy to settle in. 

Colleen was excellent at explaining each stage at a level that suited everyone making it easier to grasp the concepts.  I have found the course invaluable as even though I have now changed jobs and use a different accounting package, I have the understanding required to transfer my knowledge to my every day tasks.

I'm currently looking into future options and courses, as I always like to learn new skills.  I would like to develop my career in an accounts manager role, being solely responsible for accounts.”
