Ryan Phillips is a student who completed the HND Construction course at the Lisburn Campus of the College.  Like many school leavers Ryan was at a crossroads when he completed his A’ Levels and wasn’t sure of his next step.

He commented “I chose to study the HND in Construction at the College because when completing my A’ Levels at Fort Hill College I wasn’t sure that I wanted to go to University but was keen on a career in the construction industry. 

The College provided me with an excellent opportunity to continue to higher education while I still considered my future.  Now that I have completed the HND I feel that I am ready to progress to University, I plan to enter the second year of the Quantity Surveying degree course at the University of Ulster and hopefully I can gain employment within the construction industry as a quantity surveyor when I graduate.”
