Sarah Jane Smith, 18yrs studied on the AVCE Performing Arts Dance and Drama course.  This course comprised of units such as Creating work for performance, Vocal skills and Jazz dance.

As part of this 2 year programme Sarah has participated in a number of performances with her year group such as The Show, Dracula Spectacula and The Show Part 2.  All performances were held at Bangor College.

Sarahs love of the Performing Arts has also progressed outside the college, she is an active member of the McMaster stage school leading her to taking part in performances all over teh UK in collaboration with the Hiss and Boo company and the New lyric.  Her main involvement with these companies has been in musical theatre.

After successfully comlpeting this 2 year programme with SERC, Sarah has been accepted by the Reynolds Performing Arts College in London where she is hoping to progress her skills further.

Sarah hope to perform in musicals in the West End.  When asked about her tiem at SERC Sarah commented, "I feel that the course in bangor is a well rounded course which has enabled me to expand on the skills that I already had.  It was a lot of hard work but mostly a lot of fun supported by a team of very caring and motivating staff.
