Radio stations exist in both the Downpatrick and Bangor campuses.
Down FM 105.0
A five-year full-time community radio licence to broadcast an FM radio service to Downpatrick and the surrounding areas. The radio station was launched in Spring 2006. Providing the programming will be students studying full-time media courses as well as a wide range of students from other areas such as IT, Music, and Social Science, who will be participating as part of their enrichment programme. This can help provide evidence for their wider key skills programme. Short training courses will be available for members of the community to participate in presentation, production and broadcast.

The radio station is run by the college BTEC National Certificate Media students, the future stars and award winners in the world of radio and media. It hosts a range of presenters, music and formats from out and out music shows to chat and topical discussion. A special feature this year was ‘The Zone’; covering offbeat comments from Bangor campus staff and students. These ranged from male grooming (waxing) to how the college’s student services can help you progress in your chosen career.
