STUDENTS' UNION
Get more...involved with SERC.
When you become a full-time student with us, you automatically become a member of our Students’ Union, where you will be encouraged to contribute to the work of the Union by standing for a post in the annual election, volunteering your services throughout the year, or attend the many events and activities that are held. It also provides access to NUS/USI services.
Why get involved?
- Good fun
- Make new friends
- Develop useful skills
- Looks great on your CV
- Discuss issues and concerns
- Gives you a say on what events are organised
SERC are proud to have been awarded a Special Commendation for Further Education Students' Union of the Year at the NUS Awards 2012.
CLUBS & SOCIETIES
The College offers a number of sports clubs and societies. We have dedicated staff who support the development of this area and we encourage students to create new groups.
So whether you're the sporty type, a film buff or just want to get to know your fellow students, there are lots of clubs and societies for you to join.
