Three SERC students won the prestigious ‘Future Students of Business’ award presented by Employment and Learning Minister Danny Kennedy.
The first student to pick up an award was BA Business Management student Chelsea Pentney, 20, who gained confidence and skills in working as a team.
Philip Babb, 18, was next to be awarded, he is passionate about business and his key skills are communication, problem solving, creativity and working to deadlines. He studies BTEC National Diploma in Business and would like to eventually open his own restaurant.
The final student to be awarded was 17 year old Leo Bowden, who also studies a BTEC National Diploma in Business; another ambitious student who wants to start property business.
