Ballynahinch local, Nathan Smyth, who studies a BTEC National Diploma in Business Studies at SERC Downpatrick has fully embraced College life taking part in events such as the Make Your Mark Challenge, were students from across the College come together to devise an innovative business idea and compete against other teams for top prise.
Nathan had this to say “This event was a great opportunity for me to put into practice the theory I have learnt surrounding business studies, I was able to call upon my knowledge of financial planning and marketing to help the team come up with a viable business idea.” |
