Jade Smyth a past student at The High School, Ballynahinch is studying an Introduction to Professional Cookery.  She became interested in catering while at school and then took part in the Junior Chef Academy, a ten week cookery programme for 12 – 16 year olds. Upon completition of this course she gained a greater insight into the catering industry and decided to pursue a career, which will eventually see her work in her own restaurant.

Jade has thoroughly enjoyed her time at SERC, especially meeting new people and the support from her lecturers.
