19 year old Thomas Moore is a student at the Lisburn Campus of the College studying a level 3 apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle where he works three days a week for Philip White Tyres. Thomas enjoys the opportunity to gain experience through his placement which has encouraged him in his career path.
Upon completing his GCSE’s Thomas joined the College to study Motor Vehicle level 2 as he has always enjoyed working with cars and wanted to pursue this as his career. While completing his level 2 qualification Thomas was named Trainee of Year at the Colleges’ Further Education Achievement Awards in recognition for his hard work and dedication to his studies.
In the future Thomas hopes to successful complete his apprenticeship and hopefully secure full-time employment with his current employer.
