Sheryl joined the College in February 2007 and fast tracked her NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy qualification, compacting a years study into 4 months. Progressed onto the NVQ L3 Pharmacy Service course in the Bangor campus, enrolled Sept. 07 and completed in June 09.
‘By completing the Level 3 qualification I am now a fully qualified Pharmacy Technician. This is extremely important to my job as it is becoming a legal requirement to hold this qualification to work in a Pharmacy but it also provided me with the background information and finer details of dispensing drugs and medication to the community. My time with the College has made me realise how much I enjoy learning new things and the education setting, so much so that I am considering doing some assessing for the NVQ programme or even teach some modules on the course.
