Level 2 Diploma in Horticulture
Course Overview
This Level 2 Diploma in Horticulture is a 2 year programme which will prepare you for working in the Horticulture industry. Students will participate in work experience in the college gardens, as well as with local employers.
The delivery hours are 15 hours a week for this course.
FIRST YEAR MODULES WILL INCLUDE:
- Understand the Principles of Plant Science
- Understand the Principles of Soil Science
- Establish and Maintain Plants Outdoors
- Participate in Propagation Techniques
You will be required to complete Essential Skills Literacy, Numeracy and ICT if you do not have a GCSE Grade C or above in these subjects.
