Course Overview

This one-year course is equivalent to 2 GCSEs and will give you the basics of skills required in the music sector.  You will also be studying Essential Skills in Numeracy, Literacy and ICT if you have not achieved these at GCSE level. 

Modules may include

  • Music Project 
  • Recording 

 You would like to take the first steps towards working in the Live or Recorded Music Industry.

How to develop music performance skills, participate in live music performances, develop music theory knowledge, record and produce your own music, work with music software. 

 

 The fully equipped music rehearsal rooms, bespoke recording studios, and Industry Standard Mac Resources.

Successful completion of this programme will enable you to apply to employment in the music industry, or further study on the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music or Music Technology 

 2 GCSEs at Grade D-G, and successful outcome at audition/ interview.
