Course Overview
A structured three-day classroom and workshop programme of guided learning designed to meet the requirements for learners who are or will be installing Air Source Heat Pumps.

Course Modules
There is one written assignment, one practical assignment and an online exam to complete this course

Ideal If:
You are currently an MCS, OFTEC, Gas Safe installer or a plumbing and heating contractor who wishes to commence with Heat Pump Installation works

You'll Learn:
The installation requirements, of the heating and hot water systems required and component parts of the Heat Pump.

You'll Love:
Learning about the new technologies associated with the Air Source Heat Pump. 

You'll Progress:
You could progress and have other qualification opportunities for example in the Low Temperature Hot Water Design and the Level 5 OCN NI Green Technologies.

You'll Need:

To be either a qualified Plumber, or a Gas Safe Registered Gas Engineer, or an OFTEC Registered Oil operative, or a current MCS operative.

There are pre-requisites for this qualification; all candidates must hold, on top of the above, water regulations qualifications and unvented hot water qualifications
