Level 3 National Extended Diploma Performing Arts
Course Overview
With the emphasis on live performance you will develop both practical and theoretical skills through study of 18 units that make up the Extended Diploma in Performing Arts.
You will learn through Project Based Learning (PBL) enhancing your performance skills while performing to public audiences in our state of the art facilities (Space) as part of SERC’s Glass Umbrella Theatre Company (Bangor) and with Sercus Theatre Company (Lisburn) in our Historical Landmark Building, Castle House.
The course is challenging, energetic and industry relevant. A talented teaching team will nurture your talents to encourage you to get the most from the course and realise your true potential.

4 GCSEs at Grade C or above in any subject, or a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Performing Arts, and successful outcome at workshop audition and interview.
If you do not have a GCSE grade C in English, Mathematics and ICT, you will be required to complete Essential Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT.
