Newcastle Open Day and Grow Your Own Veg In a Pot

In association with Murlough Community Association, SERC invites you visit Newcastle Campus and join a vegetable planting session, where you can plant seeds in a pot to take home with you. Then look around the campus and creche and talk to our teaching staff about the courses on offer.

Are you an adult considering returning to education?

Then come along to our open day at SERC Newcastle Campus on Wednesday 17th August, 10am-3pm.  We’d love to see you there!

Bring the family along and join a "grow your own" session, where you can plant vegetable seeds in a pot that you can take home. This FREE event is supported by a Tesco Community Grant.

Then look around the campus and creche and talk to our teaching staff about the courses on offer.

Our staff will be on hand to provide information, advice and guidance on:

Requiring no formal qualifications, our part-time FREE ‘Restart Education’ course provides a nurturing and welcoming environment where adult learners can gain skills in English, maths, science, IT, social science, and well-being and resilience.

Adults who have some qualifications can join SERC on an Access course, designed for people who would welcome the opportunity to get to University, or who maybe feel they are ready to move forward in their career(or even change direction!) if only they had a degree…

Classes for both Restart and Access start in September 2022.
