Pearson BTEC HNC in Art and Design (Arts Practice)

This one year part-time course aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to take the first steps towards a career within the creative industries. It is for students who already have an existing strong art and design skills set and wish not only to extend these but also to develop an understanding of how to exhibit, promote and sell their work within the creative marketplace. It is delivered over two full days and one half day a week to allow students to balance other work and personal commitments alongside their course of study.

Level 3 Award in Interior Design

The OCN NI Level 3 Award in Interior Design qualification has been designed to provide learners with an opportunity to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills needed to contribute to art and design activities.

Level 3 Technical Diploma in Art and Design (Graphic Design and Illustration)

This new two-year full time course is equivalent to 2 full A levels (120 Credits). In year one (Level 3 Introductory diploma) you will complete 6 units equivalent to 2 AS levels and in year two will complete a further 6 units to obtain the full Level 3 Technical Diploma.

Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design (Ceramics)

This course provides a progression route to Degree and HNC/HND courses specifically in the area of ceramics. The full-time course runs for 1 year (minimum 15hrs per week)

Pearson BTEC HND in Performing Arts

This exciting and dynamic full-time 2 year course has an emphasis on learning skills current to the performing arts industry with the aim of increasing your employability. It is a production-based course for students who wish to develop skills in the performing arts. The course is highly practical, but it also demands academic ability. We use Project Based Learning (PBL) approaches which give you industry relevant experiential learning. This will prepare you for employment within the broad spectrum of the performing arts field.

Pearson BTEC HNC in Creative Media Production

Offered by the NI Film & Television School at SERC, this is a fast-paced, one year part-time course that aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to take the first steps towards a career in the film and television industry.

Level 2 Technical Diploma in Art and Design

This course provides a great starting point for anyone wishing to develop their artistic skills and who are keen to progress to higher level art and design courses.

Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Music Technology

This course has been designed as a full time two year programme and is equivalent to 3 A levels.

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing

On this Level 3 Hairdressing course you will develop artistic flair and gain insight into supervisory roles within salons. All skills are at an advanced level.
