Tantalise your Taste Buds with Home Made ‘Fake Aways’

The culinary arts team are passionate about giving people the know-how and confidence to make, simple, nutritious and filling meals - a skill for life.
From October this year, supported by funding from the Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust (AHPT), the team delivered a series of interactive cookery demonstrations and lessons specially designed for groups such as uHub (a local group provide counselling, cognitive behaviour therapy, and holistic and creative therapies for adults, teens and children in North Down), SERC student carers, foodbank volunteers, and Bangor Foodhub and Community Support (BFCS) clients.
The AHPT funding also supported a series of filmed cookery demonstrations, which we are now ready to share across both SERC and BFCS social media channels to maximise outreach and community impact. We think there is something for everyone:
- Corned Beef Chilli
- Sweet and Sour Chicken
- Egg Fried Rice
- Honey Chilli Chicken
- Meatballs
- Flat Bread
- Chicken Curry with Rice.
