The annual awards, now in their 29th year, recognise outstanding achievement across the hospitality, leisure and tourism sectors and celebrate individuals who have made a significant contribution to their workplace and the wider industry. The two SERC students  who secured places on the shortlist in the Student Management Potential Award category are: Grace Dugan (21), from Belfast, a Higher Level Apprentice in Culinary Arts who is Head Pastry Chef at the Culloden Estate and Spa; and Tom Idiculla (22) from Craigavon, a member of the Reception team at the Titanic Hotel Belfast who recently completed a Foundation Degree in Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management (validated by Ulster University) at SERC and is now completing a degree in International Hospitality Management with Ulster University. The award celebrates emerging talent and recognises students who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential and commitment to building successful careers within the hospitality sector.

We wish them every success and look forward to celebrating with them at the awards ceremony."
