This course is for experienced operatives who hold the Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) qualification and wish to upskill to do commercial gas work.

This course is designed for qualified domestic gas engineers who want to transition into the commercial sector. It builds on existing domestic qualifications and Gas Safe registration, enabling operatives to legally and safely carry out commercial gas work.
Learners will benefit from hands-on training using the latest appliances and industry-relevant equipment, with the opportunity to progress their careers into broader heating and renewable technology sectors.
Delivered part-time, this course is aimed at experienced operatives who already hold the Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) qualification and have been registered with Gas Safe for at least 12 months.
Learners will complete the CODNCO1 Commercial Changeover module, which incorporates multiple non-domestic gas safety specialisms. The programme includes practical and theoretical components and is delivered using the most up-to-date commercial gas appliances and equipment.
This course is for qualified gas engineers looking to expand their skills into commercial gas work.
Specific Entry Requirements:
Must be on the Gas Safe Register for 12 months or more
Core Gas Safety Non-Domestic (CODNCO1)
Pipework Installation (Non-Domestic)
Pipework Testing and Purging (Non-Domestic)
Overhead Radiant Tube and Wall-Mounted Plaque Heaters
Indirect Firing Gas Appliances (Boilers and Forced Air Heaters)
Heating Appliances (Forced Draught and Atmospheric Burning Styles)
