Aine Makes PPE for Bangor Nursing Home

Aine McGreeghan, Lecturer in Mechanical Design, School of Engineering and Computing, has made masks for Millbrook Court Nursing Home in Bangor.

Aine McGreeghan, Lecturer in Mechanical Design, School of Engineering and Computing, has swapped the laser cutting machine for a 40-year-old Singer Sewing Machine. Using fabric donated to SERC by Thomas Kelly and Co., Aine was able to make masks for Millbrook Court Nursing Home in Bangor.

Creativity comes naturally to Aine, overseeing student company ‘Cutting Edge’ means she is familiar with putting her creative flair to good use.
