The Department for the Economy (DfE) is seeking a new Chairperson to the Board of Invest Northern Ireland (Invest NI).  Invest NI’s role is to promote innovation, enterprise and competitiveness in Northern Ireland businesses and encourage new business start-ups.

As Chair  you would be expected to provide approx 4 days per month including monthly Board meetings, ad hoc Committee meetings and attendance at occasional evening engagements.  There may also be some overseas travel.  

Remuneration amounts to £42,790 per annum.

Applicants are required to submit evidence of competency against six essential criteria in total:

• Corporate Governance & Risk Management
