Throughout lockdown it's important to get outdoors, and keep the mind occupied, a great way to combine the two is by doing some gardening.

This week Horticulture lecturer Joanna Loane has provided us with some helpful advice on supporting plants.

At this time of year, perennial plants are growing very quickly! Many of the taller varieties need support, and it is never too early to get the supports in. This video gives some advice on a range of plant supports, and the advantages and disadvantages of using different sources and material.
