Gardening Tips and Advice Week 12

SERC's team of horticulture experts bring you weekly gardening tips and advice. This week horticulture lecturer Joanna Loane has provided us with some helpful advice on hardening off seedlings.

Many of us have young seedlings and cuttings indoors that we plan to plant outside when the weather is warmer, and the chance of frost has passed. In preparation for this, it is important to allow the young plants to gradually become accustomed to the cooler temperatures of outdoors. This video describes the process of hardening off young plants.
