“I enjoy the practical tasks and being able to do my work in my own time at my own pace. So far, I have completed my practical classes in manicures, as well as lash and brows, and I’m currently learning practical and theory on waxing, facial work and make-up, which I’m already starting to love. You also learn a lot about health and safety, pedicure services, and how to effectively communicate with clients. The course is great fun with lots of group activities, and you can get lots of additional qualifications in ear piercing, lash extensions and gel application. 

“After my current course I would like to carry on to the level 3 beauty course and then hopefully get qualified in hairdressing as well. I’d love to work in a beauty salon to get some experience on how a salon runs and to build up my clientele. Long-term, I would love to own my own salon.”
