Local MLA Visits SERC Students
Connie Egan MLA for North Down called into South Eastern Regional College’s Bangor Campus recently for a question-and-answer session with students from the BTEC Level 3 in Uniformed Protective Services.
The students, who are currently studying a module on Government and the Protective Services, heard first-hand about the work of Stormont Assembly.
Lecturer Jeremy Adams said, “We were delighted to welcome Connie Egan MLA back to the College for a talk with students. Connie gave an insight into her own political journey, her day-to-day work as an MLA and she highlighted some of the issues she is passionate about, such as tackling violence against women and girls.”
