Mental Health Matters

Mental Health Matters is here to provide you with weekly tips, resources, events, and methods to help you achieve better mental wellbeing and happiness.

AwareNI Zoom Courses

AwareNI are running several free online courses for you to take time to focus on your mental wellbeing.

These programmes are based on cognitive behavioural concepts and introduces the ‘Five Areas Approach’ which participants use to challenge and change unhelpful thinking and behaviour to make a positive difference to their lives.

They also feature the ‘Take5 for Your Emotional Wellbeing’ which focuses on the five most evidenced ways of looking after mental health. Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give and teaches us how we can build these into our everyday lives.
