Spa Therapy Students deliver treatments to Ballymote Women's Group

SERC Level 2 Spa Therapy students Amber McLean (16, from Downpatrick) and Erin Murray (19, from Ardglass) deliver soothing hand and arm massage treatments to Joanne McCarthy and Rebecca McKinney from the Ballymote Women’s Group in Downpatrick. 

The Women’s Group visited the SERC Downpatrick Campus to learn more about opportunities offered through the Step Up and Be Your Own Boss programmes, which support adults to return to learning, develop new skills, increase in employability and grow in confidence. The group also enjoyed spa treatments in the campus training salon, which allowed the Level 2 Spa Therapy class practical experience of working with clients.
