Hair and Media Makeup students attend trade show in the RDS, Dublin

SERC Level 2 Hair and Media Makeup students were delighted to be in attendance of the Professional Hair and Beauty trade show in the RDS, Dublin on 25 September.  

The aim of attending the tradeshow was to explore the various career pathways in the industry, learning from professionals who demonstrated techniques at the event, while also getting a first look at the latest industry products.  

Hairdressing lecturer at SERC, Judith Magill spoke after the event, saying, “This has been a fantastic insight to these young and enthusiastic Level 2 students. It provides them with a first-hand look at the skills they can acquire and use within the industry, along with giving them a sense of options for which area they wish to specialise in.”  

The students were in a positive mood after the event after watching industry experts and all that the industry has to offer.
