SERC team up with every body active and urge staff to participate
SERC have teamed up with Every Body Active 2020 and are encouraging staff to participate in the initial taster sessions which will start on Wednesday 4 October in the Downpatrick Fitness Suite which will be delivered by Kazoku Karate from Castlewellan. Two classes are on offer from either 4:15pm or 5:10pm with each session lasting 30 minutes.

Classes offered will include:
KMA Fitness (Kazoku martial arts fitness) - This class will help develop fitness in a non-combative environment, using competent techniques for punching, elbow strikes and kicks, this class will help improve core strength, balance, agility and range of motion.
Kazoku Equilibrium - Equilibrium meaning balance, this class helps contact mind and body using yoga and Pilates style of movement. The class will help improve flexibility, muscle tone strength and help with relaxation.
Kazoku Freestyle strength group training - This class works to build total body functional strength, muscular endurance and promote lean muscle mass. All exercises are completed at high intensity specific to the participant.
Kazoku Survival - This class will improve your chances of success in self-defence encounters, this class will give you your techniques, mobility, flexibility and cardio (from explosive movements to running) you will learn simple, effective, real life survival tactics.
