Be Your Own Boss
Be Your Own Boss

SERC will be delivering a free course around an introduction to entrepreneurship – Be Your Own Boss, over twelve weeks starting from Wednesday 29 November from 9.30am - 12.30pm at its Downpatrick Campus.
The course will provide an excellent introduction for those who have been away from education for a long time, helping you develop your employability skills and increase your confidence to study again.
The programme will also help participants in identifying their talents and drive to build a new business. We'll train you in the skills and innovative thinking that allow founders to create successful businesses, challenging you to take a real startup from start to finish.
Fully funded through Neighbourhood Renewable Fund, the programme will be delivered by SERC in a classroom setting one day a week at the College's Downpatrick Campus. This is an exciting partnership between County Down Rural Community Network, the Men’s Shed and local entrepreneurs, who will support SERC in delivering the course.
Participants must be a resident in the Downpatrick area and be over 18 years old. Application does not guarantee a place on the programme.
