The week-long initiative is a vibrant celebration of creativity, skills and community across the college, which brings together staff, students and visitors to showcase student projects and businesses, alongside external organisations, giveaways, prizes and creative activities. The SERC Enterprise team and Students’ Union organised the events across Bangor, Downpatrick, Lisburn and Newtownards campuses, with more events coming to Newcastle, Ballynahinch and Holywood campuses after half term.

As part of the event-filled week, the Enterprise team hosted Love Your College markets, showcasing a wide range of staff and student products and services that highlighted the breadth of skills and expertise across the College. The SERC Students’ Union complemented the markets with a variety of fun activities and competitions at the same locations and times, including balloon‑grab tombolas with prizes and engaging treasure hunts. Students won a selection of prizes including vouchers for Jungle NI, Apache and Everlast, along with prizes like a Garmin watch, JBL headphones and more..

SERC Student Engagement Manager Ross Currie says, "It was great to see so many students and staff turn up and show their appreciation for their college community. A massive thank you to all students, exhibitors and sponsors whose hard work made for an amazing week."

SERC Senior Innovation Advisor Megan Rollins said, “Love Your College at SERC was a fantastic celebration of everything that makes SERC special. We are thrilled at the engagement across all campuses and proud to see our learners embrace every opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate SERC.”
