The Golden Dance Awards aim to honour and recognise outstanding dancers, schools and creatives across Northern Ireland, Ireland and Scotland. In the Northern Ireland portion of the Awards this year, the SERC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice (Dance) students will compete in the ‘University/College of the Year’ category.
The Level 3 class is no stranger to being recognised for their talent, having achieved a combined total of six first places, five second places and two third places across ten categories in this year’s Northern Ireland Creative Movement and Aerobic Championships.
SERC Lecturer in Performing Arts and Dance Rachael Tsang comments “We are delighted to be nominated for this year’s Golden Dance Awards. We are incredibly proud of both our course and our students, who consistently demonstrate exceptional commitment, creativity and teamwork.”
The awards ceremony will take place on 26 September at the Culloden Estate.
