All-Ireland Sustainability is a leading cross-border initiative committed to driving meaningful change through a series of initiatives that inspire, educate, and support people and organisations across Ireland. Their annual awards ceremony celebrates the outstanding achievements of individuals, groups, and communities who are making a significant impact on Ireland’s sustainability landscape.
SERC is shortlisted in the ‘Education for Sustainability’ category, which celebrates educational initiatives promoting sustainability knowledge and action. The college has been selected for several initiatives including the establishment of a new retrofit training suite, the introduction of Northern Ireland’s first green technology training qualifications, the training of community champions to promote sustainability, and the integration of green principles into curriculum development.
The winners will be announced at an awards gala taking place on 1 October at the Europa Hotel, Belfast.
