SERC Students Prepare for Work Based Placements in Bali

Thirty-six SERC students across a range of courses are preparing for a two-week work-based learning and global citizenship placement visit to Bali this March.

The students will be travelling to Bali thanks to funding from the UK’s Turing Scheme.  

Students from SERC Travel & Tourism, Culinary Arts, Early Years, Business and Health and Social Care courses will be present on the visit. While in Bali, the students will engage in a variety of work based activities and cultural experiences, including placements with local businesses, team building exercises, and hands-on learning, as well as experiencing local Balinese culture and improving awareness of global citizenship, sustainable business and eco-tourism.
