The academy is fully funded through the Labour Market Partnership for Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.

Benefits of studying this course:
- Participants will learn how to work with electricity effectively and have the ability to design, wire and troubleshoot an electrical control panel.
Entry requirements:
- Be a female resident in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area
- Be over 18 years of age
- Be unemployed or underemployed
Participants will gain:
- A CPD Certificate in Electrical Upskilling
Start Date:
- Monday 9th February 2026
- 9am-5pm for x1 week
- Delivered at SERC Lisburn Campus
