The academy is fully funded through the Labour Market Partnership for Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.

Benefits of studying this course:
  • Participants will learn how to work with electricity effectively and have the ability to design, wire and troubleshoot an electrical control panel.
Entry requirements: 
  • Be a female resident in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area
  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Be unemployed or underemployed
Participants will gain:
  • A CPD Certificate in Electrical Upskilling
Start Date:
  • Monday 9th February 2026
  • 9am-5pm for x1 week
  • Delivered at SERC Lisburn Campus
